Self-publishing scientist very happy his complex publication looks so good

This man had a 40 year working life in science and had accumulated a vast amount of research data. Some of it had been written up and published in scientific papers but no research journal was able to handle the complexity or the sheer volume of the material that remained. It was all about the small island of Niue and the causes of its very high levels of natural radioactivity.

The large 145 page book being carefuly checked by the author.

As costs of publishing in journals continue to rise, ResearchGate is gaining a reputation as solid international research resource.

The author's best course was to self-publish his supplementary data as a scientific monograph - and upload it as a searchable PDF to ResearchGate. At 25 million members, Research Gate is the largest academic network in the world for scientists, academics, and researchers to share papers, collaborate on projects, and ask or answer professional questions.

To place a publication on ResearchGate it first of all has to be created as a printed book and then converted to PDF. The author turned to BriarsBooks and the task began of handling, charts, tables, diagrams,  appendices and references - first for print and then for PDF.  Printed copies of the monograph were sent to academic and research institutions with an interest in the tiny South Pacific island of Niue

Another satisfied client and something else to add to the scientific database.
